If you’ve ever tuned into Wicked Tuna, you’ve seen the grit, determination, and deep respect for the ocean that define Captain Dave Marciano. As the owner of FV Hard Merchandise and the family-run Angelic Fisheries, Dave has spent decades navigating the waters off Gloucester, Massachusetts.

From national TV to the docks of New England, Captain Marciano has become a symbol of what it means to fish hard, fish honest, and fish smart.

Chasing Tuna, Filling Coolers

Operating year-round out of Gloucester, Dave and his crew target everything from bluefin tuna to haddock and groundfish. Whether you’re chasing a once-in-a-lifetime offshore giant or looking to load up on tasty table fare, a trip aboard FV Hard Merchandise is about more than catching — it’s about learning, laughing, and doing it right.

More than just a charter operation, Angelic Fisheries represents a full-time, family-run commercial fishing operation based in Gloucester. With multiple vessels in the water and decades of experience, the Marcianos are committed to sustainable, responsible harvesting — from bluefin tuna to New England groundfish.

Their mission is simple: fish hard, fish right, and give people a firsthand look at what honest commercial fishing really looks like.
