Common questions
Is the app free?
Yes. Logging catches, the chart, the public feed and the forecast for today and tomorrow are free. Pro Logger adds the full conditions on every catch you log, the 7-day forecast and the overlays, for $9.99 a month or $99 a year.
More about Pro LoggerWhat is Pro Logger and how do I get it?
Pro Logger is the paid tier of the logging app. You buy it on the web and use it in the app, on the same account. Nothing to transfer.
Get Pro LoggerWhat is a Pro Club?
In a Pro Club, a captain or guide shares catches and local knowledge with members. You join on the web, then read the club in the app or on the web.
Browse Pro ClubsAre my catches private?
The Log Sheet is always private. The catch photo can be public if you choose to share it. Your exact spot is never public.
Read the Privacy PolicyHow do I log in?
With a magic link sent to your email, or with Apple or Google sign-in. There are no passwords to remember or reset.
How do I cancel Pro Logger or leave a Club?
Both are done from Billing on the web, and both ask you to confirm. Pro Logger keeps running until the end of the period you paid for. A Club membership runs to the end of the period you’ve paid for, and nothing is refunded.
Go to BillingHow do I delete my account?
In the app: Account Settings, scroll to the bottom, tap the red Delete Account and confirm. On the web: Account, then Profile, then Delete your account. Type your email and press Delete My Account. Full steps are below.
See the deletion stepsThe weather or conditions look wrong.
Conditions on a Log Sheet come from public weather, tide and buoy sources, matched to the time and place of your photo. If a reading looks off, email support@log.fish with the date and the spot and it will be checked.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account yourself, from the app or from the web. You do not need to email anyone.
In the app
- Open Account Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom.
- Tap the red Delete Account.
- Confirm.
On the web
- Sign in and open Account, then Profile.
- Choose Delete your account.
- Type your email and press Delete My Account.
Either way, here is what happens:
- Right away: you’re signed out everywhere, your catches are hidden from everyone, and your Club memberships end.
- For 30 days: sign in and your account comes back — your Log, your catches and your settings. Your Club memberships don’t come back.
- After 30 days: your name, handle, email, profile and catch photos are erased, and your account can’t come back.
